David Antonio Cruz, is a gem of an artist **(this is where I'll shamelessly plug in a shot out for our emerging Latino and other minority artistic community having successful and steady career's promo without falling into the trappings of the jaded and soul sucking world know as pause for a brief second "THE ART WORLD AKA Art world economics)** who's had a great show flybabyboyfly at Praxis International; (sidebar *** a million apologies for this very late post but an on-call job can systematically ruin a blogger's career and the number of posts he/she publishes - end sidebar***). I loved David's homoerotic images gingerly covered up with abstract forms; (***caution an active imagination an run wild while viewing these images) I loved the delicateness use of gold leaf; the pale pinks, blues, lavenders greys and flesh tones. I love it, I love it, I love it! I wished I'd know about this show sooner! So that I could have shamelessly tout it and promote it; the artist does live in NYC and I'm sure sooner than later he'll have another exhibition being put up and installed!
